fun kiddo activity

baking soda and colored vinegar fun activity: baking soda + colored vinegar + a dropper baking soda and colored vinegar

Take a pan of baking soda and let your child mix up some vinegar with food coloring. The child drops vinegar onto the baking soda and watches it foam up.  We did this today and both boys loved it.  I definitely want to get better about doing some of these projects I keep pinning on Pinterest so today was my start. Originally pinned here.

Next project up:  these red white and blue popsicles for 4th of July.  We'll have to start early in the day on these.  Happy 4th, everyone!

I love this! I'm going to add this to my list of fun summer activities.

I'm loving all your great ideas and inspiration Mary Beth.

It looks like you are enjoying your summer off and making the most of your days. (:

Your blog is so inspiring! I wish I had had this kind of inspiration years ago when my son was younger, sometimes it makes me sad that we missed so many fun ideas. Now he is slowly becoming a teenage boy and too old for things like playing with baking powder... how time flies!
Anyway, I think he will like some homemade popsicles :-)
