some scenes from thanksgiving

thanksgiving thanksgiving thanksgiving thanksgiving thanksgiving thanksgiving thanksgiving thanksgiving thanksgiving

We had a lovely and relaxing Thanksgiving at my parents' house. Very nice for me as I didn't have to do (most of) the cooking nor any cleaning. Hooray! I made 3 pies and the sweet potato casserole and Faith made the cranberries and green bean casserole (old school). My mom made everything else and it was delicious!

I wish I'd gotten more shots of the table and and all the food laid out--so pretty, don't you think?  Table setting (and flowers) is my mom's "thing."  Isn't this lovely?  She thrifted those plates for cheap.

I'm honestly just thankful for a day for us all to be together and healthy and well fed.  That is enough.

Lovely. The thrifted plates are fabulous, as are the turkey candleholders. Faith looks so much like you, it must make you proud to see your beautiful daughter all grown up!

I love those plates. I was also going to say that I like the turkey candle holders. It looks like you had a great thanksgiving and yes, your daughter looks a lot like you. Looks like your children are growing up. :-)
