happy fall weekend!

271/366 :: neighbor's farm stand 269/366 :: fall bloom 268/366 :: evening walk

It's the end of September! I'm happy for this little milestone in the school year. I made it through! So glad to be spending a weekend at home. Last weekend we were in Santa Cruz, and although it was fun and a real change of pace to have a whirlwind getaway (and to get up north to cooler temps), it's hard on me to have no downtime at home and jump right back into a very full workweek.

What are you doing this weekend? I'm hoping to spend more time with the boys (they are really into "Go Fish" right now, make a "tea" with them to celebrate the Equinox, and maybe take a little trip to Santa Barbara tomorrow. (Our art museum membership expired but I'm dying to renew). I'm also getting my hair colored this afternoon. I'm thinking about going a little darker.

Will report back later with our tea!

Have fun getting your hair done! Always a special treat! We're having the typical weekend of soccer games and birthday parties!

sounds like a lovely weekend, I hope the trip to the beauticians was great, too.
We have a football game, swimming and then a whole lotta nothing, I hope :)

I totally agree about jumping right back into work! I have to say "no" to some events that's I'd like to participate in because it is just too much not to have any down time.
