carpinteria state beach
One of my goals this year is to figure out how to make the weekends more magical and connected. I'll keep you posted on this one. I'm not there yet!
We did have some fun, though. I enjoyed getting to spend time with Faith on Saturday (we shopped at Target, split a burrito at Sharky's and watched a bunch of Glee episodes. It's fun getting to spend time with my girl. Next weekend she moves back to Santa Cruz).
On Sunday we had a fun lunch at Crushcakes and visited Carpinteria State Beach. My boys love exploring around the rocks and finding little tidepool creatures and I love the stress-relief the ocean naturally offers. It was so fun being there on a hot day after being there on a cold day last winter. Now I want to visit there all 4 seasons.

Beautiful pictures! I agree- the beach is relaxing and stress free no matter the season.
Missing your posts. Hope all is well and you are having a lovely, relaxing weekend.
Thank you, Amy! I'm back. I'm just trying to find a new rhythm with my blogging. Hopefully I'll be posting more soon.
Buggy and buddy--thank you! I always love the beach pictures too.
