merry christmas!

on christmas morning
We are having a sweet and mellow day, most of us reading our Christmas books or playing with our toys. The boys both received big wooden cranes from Santa and have been having fun figuring out how they work and making deliveries to everyone in the family. We had our traditional Christmas breakfast of quiche and coffee cake and my parents came up to join us. Later, we will go to their house for a delicious dinner.

Merry Christmas, everyone! I hope you are enjoying your day.

it's a very "crane" christmas

I love these pictures! It does look like a happy, mellow day. The boys look so enchanted and the teens (and 20+) appear agreeable! What more can you hope for? Happy Christmas!

Thank you so much, everyone, for your nice wishes.

Lex-- the cranes are from a German company called Fagus. I always buy ours through the Wooden Wagon. We have several of their trucks and they are all great and really encourage open ended play.
