merry christmas!
We are having a sweet and mellow day, most of us reading our Christmas books or playing with our toys. The boys both received big wooden cranes from Santa and have been having fun figuring out how they work and making deliveries to everyone in the family. We had our traditional Christmas breakfast of quiche and coffee cake and my parents came up to join us. Later, we will go to their house for a delicious dinner.
Merry Christmas, everyone! I hope you are enjoying your day.

I love these pictures! It does look like a happy, mellow day. The boys look so enchanted and the teens (and 20+) appear agreeable! What more can you hope for? Happy Christmas!
I don't normally comment but I've been enjoying your blog for a while now so just wanted to wish you and all your family a Merry Chtistmas. Hope your day was filled with love, peace and joy.

It looks like you had a lovely, peaceful day. Merry Christmas to you & your family.
your photos are reminding me how much I miss the sunshine :) Glad you're Christmas is going so wonderfully, your boys are simply adorable with their new contraptions! Enjoy the break.
Those cranes are cool and your quiche looks delicious! Merry Christmas!
lovely holiday! where are those cranes from? thanks!
Thank you so much, everyone, for your nice wishes.
Lex-- the cranes are from a German company called Fagus. I always buy ours through the Wooden Wagon. We have several of their trucks and they are all great and really encourage open ended play.
