We had a sweet and very simple Halloween. The boys were thrilled. Rainer recovered enough from his fever to go trick or treating (but they didn't stay out very long). Tonight the Green Pumpkin comes!
I decided to try your Green Pumpkin idea...but I'm feeling nervous about it. They gave up every single piece of their candy...which is a good thing...but I'm worried about expectations. I didn't go with books, but a few little trinkets from my stash of goodies. I think I give out books too often since I pick them up in stacks at thrift stores (: We shall see how hit goes. It may be a great new tradition so thank you (:
Thanks for visiting my blog. I'm wife to Ken, stepmom to Ben, and mom to Jacob and Faith, Dieter and Rainer. I like the domestic scene, salty/sweet combos, recipe reviews, the smell of rosemary, babies, the feeling of having exercised, hand clapping rhymes, books, Friday Night Lights, teacups, and laundry that has been washed, dried, folded and put away.
My Faerie MB blog explores what to wear when you are 40+. But everyone is welcome, of course!

Namaste!
Wool Fairy--I truly hoped it worked out! I'll have to check your blog and see if you wrote about it.
