nature table freshen-up

nature table freshen up: may

nature table freshen up: may

Refreshing the nature table is something that always cheers me up, and this time was no exception. I'm finding the Nikki McClure calendar to be really dark this year--beautiful still, but so dark. So I very much enjoyed adding a lot of color to the table by bringing in a lot of seasonal blooms. Rainer brought in the bouquet of lavendar all on his own, which I loved.

So, May! I can't believe how fast the year is speeding by. Six more weeks of school and we are done. What are you looking forward to in May? I'm looking forward to warmer temperatures and a three-day weekend. Happy Monday to you all!

so pretty and inspiring with your blooms.

I wish we had a good space for a nature table--it is something that is very, very important to me but finding a good spot that we can use consistently has been challenging~

What a beautiful, colorful table! Mine has a lot of "nature" in the form of sticks and pinecones picked up on recent walks by the littles. As a teacher it is hard for me to appreciate May. I have my eyes on the prize of summer vacation and have to constantly remind myself to savor the moment.
