Rhythm of the Home

I am super excited to let you know that I have an article in the current edition of Rhythm of the Home! It is such an honor to be included! I wrote about a topic I am passionate about and have been giving so much thought to lately--making a lovely, comfortable home for ourselves and families. I loved your article too! I wrote the one on fleece washing btw :) Just had to leave a note to let you know that I arrange my bookshelf by colour too. I get so excited when I see someone else do it as well! Does it drive your husband crazy too? ;)

Great article MaryBeth. I have found the same things you mentioned to be true. We have a small house and I too hope for upgrades one day but finding contentment NOW is what I really needed.

Congratulations! I loved the article. I too was "waiting for my turn" but I have let it go for more reasons then I can write in this comment.

Mary Beth, I loved the article and loved seeing more photos of your home. We are very much like you...keeping it simple, uncluttered, bringing in nature, and limited budget. I love your style.

Congratulations on a terrific article!! In the last few years we have become renters after a decade of home ownership and I have gone through similar feelings. Although, I do not want to be gypsies forever, I have found doing more with less liberating, as well. Just a wonderful article, MaryBeth.

Thoroughly enjoyed your article - it left me feeling warm, cozy and positive. We'll be moving into a new home soon and, with your thoughts in my mind, I'm excited to make our house a home. Thank you very much for sharing this.

A very inspirational article, I enjoyed reading it very much. I have been on a journey towards living a more simple life for a while now. I had to change the way I thought of my home, learn to love all of it. it is encouraging to find there are others with the same mindset. Thank you.

loved the article...I agree with all of it. My only question is do you get the comments from others about how you'll need a bigger home as your little ones grow? We get it all the time and I think our 1,000 sq house is perfect...just wish others could be as thankful for it ;)

Your home always looks fantastic to me, better than I can ever dream of mine being, not modest in the least.

I had to pop over and say how much I enjoyed your article. I personally feel like it should be "autumn cleaning" instead of "spring cleaning" since we are getting ready to head indoors for the season. And these ideas are inspiring me to prepare my home for spending more time in it soon.

thanks for sharing

Mary Beth,
I loved your article so much. I love your blog. It's always one of the first ones I click on in my Google Reader. Your thoughts (and struggles) with creating a clutter-free, simple and warm home are so similar to mine. Thank so much for your very thoughtful and well-written words. I truly treasure them.

Really wonderful article! It really spoke to me, as I have been struggling with feeling like our little 1200 square foot condo is "good enough" for our family. I ended up writing a little piece about it on my blog I liked it so much, and I've added you to my Google Reader...after spending a good part of my work day reading your archives :)

Making our ever-changing living space a home & being content with it, has been a challenge for me. Your attitude is inspiring and encouraging. Thank you!
