corners of my home

The boys don't have a room of their own--their beds are in our room--but Dieter has this little corner of his own, nonetheless. I very much like the idea of him having a small, restful and cozy place. I bought this peg rack at a garage sale, not really knowing what to do with it at first. I like it holding these things--hand knitted snake, a drawstring bag I made for the boys, fairy wings from the midsummer night celebration, and a playcrown. Oh, and a glow necklace from Halloween.
Here's a close-up of the little bag. I'm becoming very enamored of drawstring bags just lately.
And what does it hold? Puppets and finger puppets. They were needing a little bag to contain them . . .

So cute! Question. We bedshare with our almost 2 year old and it's awesome! Love love love it! We are in NO hurry for her to be out of our bed AT ALL but just curious if their bed in your room is out of absolute necessity or desire (or both). We've talked about doing the same thing and having her in her own bed in our room eventually but would love to hear how it works out for you all and whatnot (if you're willing to share of course:). TU!

I love the peg rack, I've been keeping my eye out for a nice one at the thrift store, but haven't come across one yet. Your bag is adorable and so is the quilt underneath it.

we ar into the drawstring bags right now too! I've been making them out of pants legs that have been made into shorts.

Beth-the mama bee--that is such a good idea! I saw something similar on Progressive Pioneer where she made a lunchbag from a jeans leg and was so inspired by it. What a great way to repurpose.

Our Green Nest--I will e-mail you!

Hi Hanna. Yes! I made it when Rainer was a baby.
