our day at the pumpkin patch

It was hot, it was dry, but it was seasonal fun nonetheless. I actually love this sort of simple, seasonal pleasure.

There's an old house on the property, isn't it lovely? I'd love to live in it for a day and be transported back in time. That sort of thing appeals to be very much. This in on the hay ride.

In the hay maze--a big hit with the boys.

{Climbing the hay pyramid. A favorite}
{Pumpkin pie at the pumpkin patch. It was delicious}
Happy Monday to everyone. Have a great week!

It looks like a lovely adventure! Your boys are SO adorable. :) I thrifted Child of Faerie, Child of Earth this weekend and immediately thought of you. I linked to your review; I hope you don't mind!

Thanks, everyone.

Joy--I am so happy you found of thrifted copy of Child of Faerie! It continues to be a little joke b/t me and my boys . . . sometimes they don't want it, and sometimes they ask for it and actually seem to enjoy it, although Dieter says he only asks for it for my sake . . . sweet.

hellllooo whipped cream:) that pie looks so yummy! I just put up a few pictures from our trip to a pumpkin patch this weekend, but in northern Michigan, our corn stalks definitely look much different this time of year! Looks like such a good time-- and your boys are very, very cute!!!

In the UK we call 'corn' (in its growing state), 'maize', so we get the fun of having a 'maize maze'!
Look like you had a lovely day and, yes, that house looks great...

fascinated by this pumpkin patch visiting. I seem to be seeing lots of it on the northern hemisphere blog I read. I'd never heard of it, we don't do this in nz. Is it a kind of festival that the farmer puts on?
