I completed this little bag yesterday just in time for my little Ikea trip with Faith, which is today. Hooray! Love this little bag--it was quick to sew and so satisfying to do. Found the free pattern here via Soulemama here.
I'm in love with this print fabric. Isn't it such a joy to work with great fabrics? This one came from Superbuzzy.
And now we are off, with GPS and backup maps at the ready. Will shop Ikea today, stay overnight in a hotel, and do more shopping tomorrow. It's our "girls" trip and we've so been looking forward to it for months now. I'll have a little post up tomorrow too, if you'd like to check in (pre-set--no I won't be blogging from the trip!).

a girls trip sounds so great!
Have a good time at Ikea- I just visited the one in Chicago this past weekend.
Fun travels!
Have a great "girls trip"! My daughter and I are taking one tomorrow to see Phantom of the Opera and stay at my brother's house overnight. :) She's the only girl in the family too, and I think this special time is so important.
We just plowed through Ikea on Saturday. I love Ikea.

ooh, ikea! we live about a half hour away from one and i just had to send my husband for a twin bed frame without me. he is so strong-goes straight to the warehouse. i, ahem, always look like the lady on the commercial with her van packed to the brim:o)
Have a great girls shoppping trip! Can't wait to hear all about it. Our closest Ikea is in Montreal, I have one been there once.=) Once is better then never.

fun trip! I love Ikea, unfortunately we dont have it in NZ. But fortunately my mother in law lives near one in Australia! I got her to buy one of those storage benches like yours after seeing your one. It has come over in bits - she will arrive with the last 3 drawers in a couple of weeks :o)
Cute bag too!
