cute angry chicken-style wrap sweater

I was so excited when I read Angry Chicken's post about making little wrap sweaters that I was itching to start immediately. However, I was hosting a little birthday party for Faith that same day, so I had to wait until after. These are so fun and easy to make--I've made two so far. I always admire the little wrap sweaters in the Garnett Hill catalog but they are so expensive! Now I can have my own diy version. It's tempting to cut into all my long sleeved shirts.
Skirt made by me. I got a remote for my birthday--am having fun with that.

I seem to be having a "shoe" year. These are inspired by Soulemama. The balloon is from the Wednesday night band concert. Happy weekending!

Are those Danskos? I really like them and not just because they are red! I seem to always want to buy red shoes when I have almost every shade in my closet. Too Cute!

That is so cute! My sleeves are never the right length - this way they could be perfect!

Love the shoes! And I'm thinking I may have to try out Angry Chicken's idea soon--time to go see what long-sleeved tees I can part with!

I have zero sewing skill. The sweater is cute but I really enjoy seeing photos are your play area.

Sometime, I would love to read about how you keep it organized and how you select toys.

Wow mama you look amazing!
What a cool idea to re-purpose a shirt like that!

I love the wrap...now I'm tempted too. And the shoes - what kind of shoes are they - they're fantastic.

By the way, I read your review of the book in a later post and loved it - you're right, it seems to fit in exactly with the type of thing you'd blog about anyway. But like you & Ken, we also had our own discussions and things in that vein when I was recently approached by a shop who wanted to put an advert on my blog - I really liked the shop, it's somewhere I'd shop myself....but like you, it just feels one step too far and would, for me, change the whole feel and purpose of my blog...even though the monthly fee would have been nice!

The cookies looked scrumptious, although I'm so upset to read that brown sugar is no better than white - this really surprises me.

Take care - so lovely to catch up with your lovely blog. x

It was rather interesting for me to read this blog. Thanx for it. I like such themes and everything that is connected to them. I definitely want to read more soon.
