Sadly, my little espresso pot has stopped working. I don't know why, but now only a little bit of coffee perks into the top chamber and then it stops. I have no idea what's wrong or how to fix it. It's a bummer because I loved that stovetop espresso and because I've had it for less than a year. So I guess I'm back to this method.

Sadly, my little espresso pot has stopped working. I don't know why, but now only a little bit of coffee perks into the top chamber and then it stops. I have no idea what's wrong or how to fix it. It's a bummer because I loved that stovetop espresso and because I've had it for less than a year. So I guess I'm back to this method.

I'm sorry your espresso pot broke. :( Have you tried french press? We love ours. Great teacup/saucer. Lovely green! I enjoy seeing your green series.
Maybe it just needs a good soak in some lemon or vinegar water? I know my coffee equipment gets both scale from hard water and also oily coffee residue on it.

We do stovetop coffee in a percolator and love it - leaves more counter space! Sorry your espresso one broke :(! Have a wonderful weekend though!
