While I'm at Work

Ken took the boys to the snow today! I'm so excited for them--and it even snowed while they were up there! Woo woo! It only took a half hour, so next time it rains/snows, I want to go with them. So fun! I'm especially happy about it because I want them to have some concept of snow when I'm reading them all their "winter" books. Now they do.
When they got home, they made this little snowman.
He should last until morning.

And here they are in the morning. I like coming home and "seeing" what they've been up to.

Tomorrow is the last day of work and then two weeks off. Hooray! I am so looking forward to being home more!

I love the pictures of the snowman with a pumpkin top hat in the leaf pile. I wish that I could send you some of our snow so you and your boys could enjoy it longer than one evening. Just think of their faces on discovering all of the fun things they could do with it.

That was one thing that I LOVED about living in CA! You could literally go surfing and skiing in the same day! Fantastic! Of course, I do love having the seasons here in New England...most of the time! I LOVE the little snowman...especially his hat! So creative! How blessed you all are! Thank you for sharing, as always!

It seems so odd to me that you have to "take them to the snow!" I have lived int he midwest my entire life and have never been without snow! I think I could do without it for right now though!
Love the little pumpkin top!

I love snow. We got about an inch and a half today so no school here. (we have wet snow) that turns to ice or rained before it snowed so its icy under it.
