The Benefits of Having a Teenage Daughter

Curls! Faith fairly insisted on curling my hair this morning. I finally relented and it was amazingly nice to sit back in a chair and have her work on me ("beautify" me as I would say). And I really like the way the curls turned out, and they held all day.
Thanks to Faith, and good luck to both Faith and Ben as they start 10th grade Tuesday morning.

Those do look pretty and soft! Let's see - only 12 more years to go until I have a teenage daughter . . .

The curls look lovely! I can never get curls to stay in my hair unless I set them when it's wet, and they never looks so light and easy :)

Oh boy 10th grade! Isn't that when everyone starts getting drivers licenses? Eep!

pretty! I haven't had mine curled in ages. I remember sleeping on rollers as a little girl-my mom was obsessed with curly hair.

Funny, I spend time every morning doing the opposite...straightening! They look lovely.

Mary Beth-
I just helped a friend with her knitting and realized that I forgot to tell you a very important thing! I taught myself how to knit English Style" and it felt wrong and awkward and really no fun. Then I learned how to knit "Continental Style" (hold yarn in left hand) and knitting has been awesome since. So, if you're doing it one way, maybe try the other way....Good luck!

Lovely curls...did she use a curling iron??? Did she spray hairspray on first and then roll and hold???

I know it will be fun having a teenage daughter, as each stage proves wonderful even when I don't think it will be :)
