We had a sweet, heartfelt gathering of family last night at my parents' house to honor Jacob, our wonderful high school graduate. It was just sandwiches, ice cream, and presents, but turned out really fun. Jacob is off to college in the fall--UC Santa Cruz, which we are all so excited about. Several of the adults at the gathering felt that being a freshman at UCSC is a very enviable position to be in! I agree. I loved my college years and I hope he does too.
He wrote and designed a children's book for his computer graphics class. Here's the

graduation is such a special time, they are so old but suddenly so young. Good Luck to the new Graduate!
