It Won't Look This Good Again Until July

I got my hair cut today; it's shorter and she made me blonder. I like it and I've been neglecting my looks lately to say the least, so this is a nice lift. I wish I could blow out my hair nice and smooth like this all the time, but I can't. I accept it. Molly, the young woman who does my hair, was very sweet about the Rainer situation. She said, "you don't have to talk about it if you don't want to." I found that response to be very sensitive--I don't mind talking about it, but she was obviously putting my needs first.

In other news, Dieter was very cute tonight:

I hope you are all having a restful and fun weekend.

What a gorgeous boy he is. We used to say how ever many blows it took to blow all the stuff off those plants was the time in Disneyland!

And I love the colour and cut of your hair. Its nice to treat yourself sometimes.

I love the hair! You're making me re-think my 9 months of skipping the highlights! (I'm not pregnant, I just got tired of keeping up with roots!)

And Dieter is such a cutie!

Dieter is gorgeous in that green grass with his light blond hair. (And picking dandelions, one of Jack's favorite pasttimes too!)

Y'know, the thing I most noticed in these photos is your lush, green grass. It's been so dry here (southern Australia).

Your son is a real cutie too!
